of course then the 12th of every month comes and goes and i forget all about the idea until it’s too late or too early again in the month. finally i decided to actually write it on my calendar, so today i have for you my first ever 12 on the 12th! 1. my in-laws christmas tree at the house. i love christmas tree’s all lit up at night.
2. i love this photo of my little man and my main man. i love that my little man looks to my main man for support, stability and help. his firmly clenched fist says it all. this was while we were out and about trying to get just one good photo for our christmas card.
3. ti guy building a “thing a ma jig” of some sort. he was so concentrated on laying each coin just right than then placing each water bottle just right. i love watching him so studious. so cautious. so creative. so concerned about balancing things just so. this project kept him entertained for a good 30 minutes.
4. the super sized stocking hanging in the little man’s room. i love how excited he gets each morning when he points out each and every christmas decoration that is in his room.
5. treats from a family in our neighborhood. so thoughtful and kind. they could have just brought one plate for my in-laws and us to share, but they brought two, one for each family. in all truth that little thought meant a lot today. some time’s it’s nice to be seen as our own little family. ps. how cute are the pretzel snowflakes in the middle of the plate? love those!
6. more fun while out and about taking photo’s with my father-in-law. we were playing peek a boo around the pillar & ti guy was laughing hysterically. oh how i love his laugh!
7. the handout for my lesson at church today. i debated whether leopard print was ok for a church handout, but decided God loves leopard’s too, he is the one that created the print after all! 🙂
8. titan in his jam jam’s watching prep & landing for his sunday morning show. if you haven’t watched this christmas cartoon yet, you need it. it’s a favorite at our house.
9. my new favorite pair of earrings! i wore them in our pictures and think i might just wear them every day. best thing about them? only $7 at forever 21! simply fabulous!
10. the nativity at our house. a great talk was given at church today about the nativity and the true meaning of christmas. will be sharing a quote from that talk with you all later. it was one of those quotes that caught my attention and has been on my mind the rest of the day.
11. a can of diet coke. ha ha. it wouldn’t be a full look into my day if i didn’t have at least one can of diet coke, right?!
12. the overnight cinnamon rolls that we had this morning for breakfast. yum yum! will post this recipe later in the week. would be perfect for christmas morning. so delicious!
…and there you have it. my 12 on the 12th. i love how it gave me an excuse to pull out the camera and document things i probably normally wouldn’t. it’s a great way of capturing all the daily daily’s that make up life but that will most likely be forgotten in a few years, if not days.
